These Terms of Service govern your access to Oat2’s mobile apps, websites, and related services. By creating an account or using Oat2, you agree to these terms.
1. Agreement and eligibility
You must have the legal capacity to enter a contract where you live. You must be at least 13 years old, and a parent or guardian must consent if local law requires it.
If you use Oat2 for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization to these terms. “Oat2,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of the Oat2 service.
2. Accounts and households
You must provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. You remain responsible for activity under your account.
Oat2 lets you invite people into a household. Invite people you know and have permission to contact. Household members can see and change shared content based on the app’s current controls. Remove a member or leave a household if access should end.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the notes, plans, photos, files, and other material you add to Oat2. You give us a limited license to host, copy, process, and display that content as needed to run and improve the service. This license ends when we no longer need the content for those purposes, subject to backup and legal retention periods.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to add and share your content. Household members may copy or retain content they received through Oat2, so choose what you share with care.
4. Agent features
Premium features can read relevant household content and propose or make changes at your request. Review agent answers, dates, budgets, and drafts before relying on them. Oat2 does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
The app may apply narrow additions with an Undo option. It keeps larger or destructive changes in review until you approve them. Software can still make mistakes, and you remain responsible for the content you accept and the actions you take.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
Oat2 may offer free and paid features. The App Store or Google Play shows current price, billing period, taxes, trial terms, and renewal details before purchase. Premium subscriptions renew until you cancel through the store account that made the purchase.
Store rules govern billing, cancellation, and refunds unless law requires another result. Deleting Oat2 or your Oat2 account does not cancel a store subscription. Use the store’s subscription settings to cancel.
6. Acceptable use
Use Oat2 lawfully. You must not:
- access another person’s account or household without permission;
- upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or malicious content;
- probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security for the service;
- scrape, resell, or copy substantial parts of Oat2 without written permission;
- use automated systems to abuse agent features or evade usage limits.
We may investigate suspected abuse and restrict access when we need to protect people, the service, or our legal rights.
7. Oat2 materials
We and our licensors own the app, brand, software, design, and other Oat2 materials, excluding your content. We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms.
Feedback is welcome. If you send ideas or suggestions, you let us use them without payment or restriction.
8. Service availability and changes
We work to keep Oat2 useful and available. Maintenance, provider outages, security events, or product changes may interrupt access. We may add, change, or remove features and limits.
Third-party services support authentication, storage, notifications, links, analytics, subscriptions, and agent requests. Their terms may apply to your use of their products.
9. Ending use
You can stop using Oat2 at any time and request account deletion through the app or the contact address below. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, create risk for others, or expose the service to harm.
Sections that need to survive account closure remain in effect, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.
10. Disclaimers and limits
Oat2 is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent law permits, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect synchronization, or error-free agent output.
To the extent law permits, Oat2 and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for claims tied to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Oat2 in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.
Some places do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits. In those places, these limits apply only as far as the law allows.
11. Local rights and disputes
Local consumer law may give you rights that these terms cannot limit. Before filing a formal claim, contact us and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. These terms do not prevent either side from seeking urgent relief for misuse of accounts, content, intellectual property, or security.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised date and give notice in the app or by email when a change requires it. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
