How to request deletion What gets deleted What we keep, and for how long Contact

You can ask us to delete your Oat2 account and the data tied to it at any time.

1. How to request deletion

Send an email to deletion-requests@getoat2.com from the email address associated with your Oat2 account.

  • Email us from your account's email address, since we use it to verify the request came from you.
  • Use the subject line "Delete my account" so we can route it quickly.
  • We will confirm your request by reply and let you know once deletion is complete.

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your identity.

2. What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

  • your profile, sign-in credentials, and account settings;
  • notes, to-dos, Spaces, prose, dates, assignments, reactions, budgets, decisions, photos, and files tied to your account;
  • agent requests, drafts, feedback, voice transcripts, and attachments associated with your account;
  • notification tokens and device data linked to your account.

If you belong to a shared household, content you shared with other members may remain visible to them, since a household is a shared space. Deleting your account removes your membership and personal data from that household going forward.

3. What we keep, and for how long

We keep a limited set of records after account deletion:

  • billing and subscription records, kept as required by tax and accounting law;
  • records needed to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements;
  • aggregated or de-identified usage information that cannot be tied back to you.

Backups that include your data age out of our systems on a rolling basis after deletion. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on retention.

4. Contact

Questions about account deletion can go to deletion-requests@getoat2.com or hello@getoat2.com.
